Well, it was certainly a busy weekend! The autocar was loaded up Wednesday evening, ready for a Thursday lunchtime arrival at the NEC. (Yes, we took the long way round, it’s what you have to do with a large, heavy load…). I’ve been to a fair few model railway exhibitions, either as a visitor, exhibitor, trader and or demonstrator but the logistics of moving even a large layout or stand are much simpler than moving an object 56 feet long and weighing around 35 tons. Once in place, we could breathe a sigh of relief and let the show be built around us.

There was plenty of interest and our volunteers talked ourselves hoarse over the weekend. We had our new guides and DVDs on sale. Our thanks to all those who either bought these and/or made donations. Also, many thanks to the Warley club for the invite and their hospitality.
